Cognitive Reframing & Authentic Wisdom - Free Weakening Thoughts From Your Mind

You have the ability to monitor yourself at all times to determine your
relative state of weakness or strength and to shift (reframe) out of those thoughts that
weaken you. To reframe means to change the conceptual and or emotional
setting or viewpoint (perspective) in relation to which a situation is experienced and to
place it in another frame that fits the facts of the same concrete situation
equally well or even better, and thereby changes its entire meaning. The technique involved here is not immediately obvious, understanding that there is change while the situation itself may remain quite unchanged
and, indeed, even unchangeable. What turns out to be changed as a result of
reframing is the meaning contributed to the situation, and therefore it’s
consequences, but not its concrete facts.
There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware
of the truth, until we have felt its force, it is not ours. The cognition of
the brain and the experience of the soul must occur to make it stick.
Crucible - a situation (experience) of severe trial (personally meaningful intense emotions), or in which different elements interact, leading to the creation of something new.
The process of revisiting a life story is not one of which denies the facts, diminishes the reality of past suffering, or to put it graphically
“blowing sunshine up the ass.” It is, however, an exploration of alternative
interpretations and evaluations.
To help support a more empowered view of life it helps to
write out the new focused narrative of the past. Practicing this as a daily habit supports
the genius within. The future is determined by what you are focused on from your past. Let your (new focus) past set you free.
We strengthen the genius mind by focusing our attention to
the past’s lessons and experiences of greatness and letting go of all the
victimhood stories of the past. Through a daily journaling exercise/practice
we gather, remember and focus on all the good that was there and accumulate all of
that to form our new understandings of where we are currently. Interpreting to
ourselves the directions of our lives, our pasts, presents, and futures.
Catching small details and big developments. We are attaining clarity about our
own hearts arriving at self-knowledge as well as knowledge of the world. Our
goals for work, for family life, and for personal development naturally grow
out of this knowledge, as a powerful byproduct of our habits of articulation.
We often think that any one of our other stories of, “if we
only did this or that,” would have brought us to a better more desired place
now. But through this practice, we can see and experience the best outcome now
leaning into our great unknown future as we continue this new practice of
focusing on the supporting perspectives of the same facts/experience. Human beings can alter their lives by altering their
attitudes of mind.
Do you think that you are the you from your past? You are if
you think so. That’s where you are stuck. And that’s where you begin to look at all
the facts and focus on the ones that support what you truly want and can be. The
true you! The spirit within. This is also known as healing your emotional past and living authentically.
