TRIGGERED - Energy Shifts Like a Loss in Cabin Pressure


When you find your energy shifting remember your best go to is mindful self-compassionate care and reflection; pause, breathe and count until you find your balance then engage in excited curiosity. Many past traumas create fear or defensive response. A natural state as if we were under physical or psychological threat. However, most of the time for most of us, we are just being triggered to respond in such a way from a past experience.

I have discovered through being greatly curious, and with having the intention of seeking to uncover what is most useful for me; by traversing through thoughts and creative ideation - the experience I liken to figuring out a challenging puzzle with great wonder and playfulness - cracking the code.

I become aware of my energy shifting; I engage curiosity and more often than not, discover that I am aware at some level, that I am experiencing misalignment also known as incongruence, where what is being communicated/understood does not match what has been done and or is happening. All people experience this even with themselves. It is where trust is either building or diminishing. Where what we say, think and do matches or it doesn't.  The deeper our relationships are with ourselves and others depends on this simple equation.
